Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you can and cannot do on Ampin' Up, and works alongside our Terms of Service.
Last updated: July 22, 2026
Your account and your activity
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
- Keep your login credentials secure and do not share your account with others.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account, whether or not you authorized it.
- Tell us right away, through our contact page, if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
- You must meet the eligibility requirements set out in our Terms of Service.
Your content (uploaded tabs)
Ampin' Up lets you upload your own Guitar Pro tab files. When you upload a tab, we derive the 3D note and fretting-hand data and add the song to your own private library.
- Only upload files you have the right to upload — files you created, own, or otherwise have permission to use.
- You are responsible for the tabs you upload and for making sure they do not break the law or infringe anyone else's rights.
- Uploaded tabs are private to you. They stay in your own library for your personal, educational use. They are not shared with, browsable by, or downloadable by other users, and we do not redistribute them.
- If you believe content on Ampin' Up infringes your copyright, do not use the contact page for that — instead follow the process in our DMCA / Copyright Policy. You can reach our copyright agent at coleto.smitty@gmail.com.
Prohibited conduct
Do not do any of the following on or through Ampin' Up:
- Upload or store content that is unlawful or infringing, or that you do not have the right to use.
- Exploit, game, or manipulate the coin economy — including coin balances, transactions, cosmetic or customization items, or any in-app rewards — or attempt to create, duplicate, or transfer coins or items in ways the Service does not intend.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise abuse the Service or its APIs, or use them in ways that place an unreasonable load on our systems.
- Circumvent, or attempt to circumvent, access controls, security measures, or subscription gates.
- Access, or try to access, other users' accounts or private content, or any data you are not authorized to see.
- Harass, threaten, abuse, or otherwise mistreat other users or our staff.
- Use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated means to access, collect, or copy data from the Service without our written permission.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' ability to use it, including by distributing malware.
- Use the Service to carry out any other illegal activity.
Coins and virtual items
- Coins and cosmetic or customization items are virtual only. They have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money.
- Manipulating balances, prices, or item ownership — or exploiting bugs to gain coins or items — is a violation of this policy.
- See our Terms of Service for the full rules on coins and virtual items.
Enforcement
- We may remove or disable content that violates this policy.
- We may warn, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate this policy or our Terms of Service.
- We may take these steps with or without notice, depending on the severity of the violation, and we may report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
- A violation may also result in the loss of coins, items, or subscription access, without refund except where required by law.
Reporting a problem
- To report a violation of this policy, a bug, or any other concern, use our contact page or email coleto.smitty@gmail.com.
- For copyright infringement, follow the process in our DMCA / Copyright Policy or contact our copyright agent at coleto.smitty@gmail.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of Ampin' Up after a change means you accept the updated policy.
